In a family apartment a bespectacled man in a checked shirt paces the living room while a mustachioed man in an undershirt lies in bed with a woman in the next room; the two men end up shoving and grabbing each other, and the undershirt man walks out in his shorts. Later a white chalk circle is drawn on the terracotta hall floor and a man steps into it, a young woman in a cream dress appears in the doorway, and the bespectacled man is left gesturing and shouting between the rooms.
